Visual Basic Tutorial
This section will teach you on how to begin programming with Visual Basic 2008 and above. Please take note that Microsoft has already changed the name from Visual Basic .NET to Visual Basic – that is, by eliminating the word “.NET”. The purpose of changing this is to avoid confusion to the language. So, if you refer to version 2008 or 2012, you would say “Visual Basic 2008” or “Visual Basic 2012”.
Anyway, the purpose of this tutorial is to teach beginners who would like to learn how to code with Visual Basic. I will try explaining every important detail on how Visual Basic works.
Since Visual Basic is belonged to Rapid Application Development (RAD), I will also explain common controls that can be found at the left side of the editor when you run it.
There may be so many ideas that Visual Basic is not a good programming language, but well, they’re wrong. There are so many applications that can be found on the Internet that is made in Visual Basic. The Basic language is design to teach programmer in such a way to understand it easily, rather than making things complicated.
