The Simple Attendance Record System was build using PHP, Javascript / MySQLi. This system is capable of recording the attendance of every student, it uses an AJAX script to make the system more interactive. This application is a user-friendly kind of system, feel free to modify it.

About

The Simple Attendance Record System will help you learn how to use PHP CRUD functions with Ajax. The system has 2 sides which are the Administrator and Student Side. The default side when browsing the system will be the student log page. On this page, the student will enter their student ID to record their login time. The Administrator user is in charge of managing the system data such which are the list of students and system admin users.

How to Run

Download and Install the latest version of XAMPP. To download XAMPP, kindly click here.
Open the XAMPP Control Panel and start "Apache" and "MySQL".
Download and Extract the source code zip file. (download button is located below.)
Copy and Paste the extracted folder in your XAMPP "htdocs" folder.
Open a web browser and browse the PHPMyAdmin or click here.
Create a new database naming "db_sars".
Import the "SQL" file from the "database_here" folder in the source code root folder.
Open a web browser and browse the source code. Ex.[ http://localhost/simple_attendance_record_system ] and [ http://localhost/simple_attendance_record_system/admin ] for admin side.

Login for Administrator

Username: admin
Password: admin
