Student Result Processing System using PHP/PDO with Source Code

This project is called as Student Result Processing System. This project was programmed using PHP/PDO, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and using some libraries and plugins for the better experience of the users. The system is divided into two modules which are the Administrator User and the Student. The Admin user can manage all the data of this project such as managing the list of Classes, Subjects, Students, and etc. The Admin user in this project is the one is in charge of encoding the result of the student in every class. For the Students, they will provide their Roll ID and select which class they wanted to view their result. The student result is downloadable and the result file will be downloaded as a PDF File.

How to Run

Requirments

  • Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
  • Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Setup/Installation

  1. Open your XAMMP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the "Apache" and "MySQL".
  2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
  3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
  4. Open a web browser and browse the PHPMyAdmin. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
  5. Create a new database naming "srms".
  6. Import the SQL file included in the source code folder. The file is known as "srms.sql".
  7. Browse the Web Application in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/srms

Username: admin
Password: password

Nice project i like. Please i will like to understand how the computation of final student result is done ranging from the total mark and percentage. Total Marks: 130 out of 200 Percntage: 65 % Please what calculation do you do to get the total marks and percentage, like what and what did you add, sub or divide to get total mark and percentage. Thanks. as this will help others to understand your algorithm for result computation.
