Introduction

This is a C# and MS SQL Server Project entitled Point of Sale System. This is a software-based application that allows a specific store or shop to manage its day-to-day transactions. The system 2 sides of GUI which are the Administrative Side and the Customer Side.

About the POS System

This Point of Sale software was developed for my client's thesis. The system contains the features and functionalities they required to meet the expectation and requirements to the store whom will use the project. The software is enabled to store the list of the store suppliers, customers, products, and more which can be managed only by the management or the admin user. The admin user can create/place an order for the customer and the customer kiosk also can do the same using their software GUI's Side. The admin or the management will be one to update the status of the order into (Shipped, Delivered, or Returned). On the Customer Side, customers can also track the status of their orders.

How to Run

Requirements:

Download and install the following:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio Software
  • SQL Server
  • SAP Crystal Reports

Setup

  1. Download and Extract the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)
  2. Locate the solution file in the extracted source code folder. The file is known as POS.sln.
  3. Open the solution file with your MS Visual Studio Software
  4. Configure the connection string in the ConnectionString.cs file based on your installed SQL Server.
  5. Press the F5 key on your keyboard to run the POS System

Admin Login Information:

Username: admin
Password: 12345

Hello bro, this is excellent example of POS , but what i want to ask is my project cannot find assembly of flashcontrol, i have VS2013, does it happen due to migration from VS2010 to VS2013? If yes than any suggestion to correct it ?
