Bomb Explode! (An Android App Strategy Game)

Operating System

This android app named Bomb Explode! is a capstone project that I made for a particular school. BOMB EXPLODE! is a Human Versus Computer strategy game. The objective is to eliminate the opponent by blowing up their BOMBS. Each player takes a turn by placing a BOMB in a square on the board. The human player can start by placing the first BOMB or have the computer start by pressing the Computer First button. A player can place the BOMB in any square not occupied by the opponent. When a square accumulates 4 BOMBs it explodes and the BOMB are distributed to the adjoining squares. If the adjoining square is occupied by the opponent the square and its BOMB become the property of the other player. If the explosion causes an adjoining square to accumulate 4 BOMBS it in turn explodes and so forth. One player wins when the opponent loses all BOMBS on the board. SETTINGS: The Settings menu gives control over some attributes of the game. - Sound level. - Intensity of the crosshairs that show the computers move. - Vibration of the explosion. - When there are multiple explosions they can be set to happen instantly or sequentially. Settings can be changed at any time during the game. Install BombExplode.apk in the Objects folder after downloading the source code.
