Language

This project is entitled Lost and Found Information System. It is a web-based application that provides an online platform for individuals to post lost and found items. The project was mainly developed using PHP and MySQL Database. It has a pleasant user interface using Bootstrap v5 Framework and NiceAdmin Template. It contains multiple user-friendly features and functionalities.

How does the Lost and Found Information System work?

This Lost and Found Information System is a simple web application project that is composed of 2 modules which are the Public and Managemen sites.

The Management Site is accessible to the organization or the system management only. This site requires the users to log in with their valid system credentials in order to gain access to features and functionalities. It has 2 types of user roles which are the Administrators and Staff users. The Administrators have the privilege to access and manage all the system data/information such as the list of system users, categories, items, and system information while the Staff has limited permission only. The system allows also the management to update some of the public site page content dynamically using the management site front-end.

On the Public Site, visitors are allowed to explore the published and unclaimed items found and posted to this site. They can also explore the different page content of the site and send a message for some inquiries and or any concerns. On the posted Item list, visitors can filter the item to view by category.
