NetBeans 7.4 Released

NetBeans IDE 7.4 is now available, with its HTML5 development support implemented in version 7.3, now expanded to Java EE and PHP applications, as well as support for mobile web development on Android and iOS. NetBeans IDE allows you to quickly and easily develop Java desktop, mobile and web applications as well as HTML5 applications with HTML, JavaScript and CSS. The IDE also provides a variety of tools for PHP and C/C++ developers. In addition, the IDE has editors and tools for XML, HTML, PHP, Groovy, Javadoc, JavaScript and JSP. Available in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, NetBeans is a free open source development platform mainly aimed at Java programmers, which includes support for Knockout and AngularJS frameworks, as well as Jaca SE 8 and redesigned JavaFX support following JDK 8 architecture, in addition to its HTML5 development in Java EE and PHP applications and Android and iOS devices. Java FX support was initially launched on NetBeans 7.4 Beta, but this latest build has fully developed its support frame, offering early previews in JDK8 along the way. Phonegap’s Cordova application is also being supported through this release and the developers have set up a video, guiding users on how to install Cordova and Git, so as to start building hybrid apps for mobile platforms such as Android and iOS. Some of the IDE’s standard features include static analysis tools, such as the integrated FindBugs tool, helps developers keep their code clean, while the NetBeans Profiler provides assistance for optimizing your applications performance stats. The visual debugger for Java SE apps lets you debug UIs without having to deal with source code, and its another feature that makes NetBeans a useful tool for coders not yet proficient with all the bolts and cranks of programming.
