About the Library Management System

This Library Management System source code is a project that been developed using VB.NET with Microsoft Access Database. This system was designed and developed for a specific school. The system handles different features that are commonly and mainly used/related in managing the books of the school library and this includes borrowing and returns books.

The Library Management System stores the list of books, book authors, readers(teachers and students) and generates reports. The librarian or the system user can easily manage the copies of the book using the "Accession Number".

Requirements

  • Download and Install Visual Studio 2010 or higher version (source code was tested using VS2019 and works fine)

How to Run The Library Management System

  1. Download and Extract the Library Management System source code. (Download button is located below this article/content)
  2. Open the "Library.sln" file with Microsoft Visual Studio.
  3. Press "F5" to run the project.
