For the past few months, all the source code submission I uploaded here is all about desktop programming. This includes Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic .NET, and Microsoft Access. Besides this, I am also a web developer.
I learn how to program with PHP/My SQL /PostgreSQL and ASP/MS SQL way back year 2001. In 2004 my school sent me to have a seminar on the Content Management System (CMS). After the seminar I discover how easy and powerful a CMS is.
In our seminar we’ve learned joomla. Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.
But I was not satisfied after a year of using joomla. I’ve search the internet if there are some CMS which can do better than joomla. Then, I found drupal. Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Both are CMS. Make a research on your own if you want to study more about CMS. If you are using Windows OS I suggest you test it with EasyPHP.

In my personal website I prefer to use CMS. The advantage of not using CMS, is that, you can modify it anytime without waiting or asking for features that you like in the developer.
Another advantage is you'll learn php/mysql/css/html.
