Reverse Engineering: Contact Us if You Know How

I have a client from UK who would like to reverse engineer the old program made in VB 6.0. Since I am not knowledgeable on the said program, I am looking for somebody who knows this.

Here’s the problem he encounter:

"We have a simple read write program that is used to communicate information to an electronic timeclock which then updates the serial eprom with the relevant hex through an optical probe however there is a restriction in the program which disables you writing back to addresses lower than 1000 on the eprom and comes back with an error will not write to 0x000000 if you write back to the eprom above 2000 it will write successfully 1x00000 written successfully we want to change the program to write to all areas of the time clock there is no restriction on the eprom and is fully rewritable program attached.

The former company does not know exist and there is no support for this program anymore it is a visual basic 6 program done in the early 90s.

We need someone who could reverse engineer this program."

If you know exactly how this works please contact me and I will arrange a price from my client.

Please include in your proposal the amount you are going to charge and the timeframe.
