I just want to share my experience regarding this update. After upgrading my system (OS) to Windows 7 64bit I am having difficulty installing SP3 of SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. After countless days and nights of research I found out that a 64bit platform particularly on Intel processor is not supported by this update. However, if you have AMD processor you are not affected by this update as
