About

The Art Gallery Management System with Simple CMS website using PHP/MySQL is a simple project that will help a certain gallery to manage their paintings or sculptures in their business. The main purpose of this project is to help the art gallery business market their arts online using their own website. This system includes upcoming events advertisement of an artist that rented the gallery to hep also their client, and this feature of the system may also use by the art gallery business to announce their own events. The system will store the information of each painting or sculpture including the artist who created and editable content. Each art that is stored in the system, the management can upload multiple views of a certain artwork depending to the views they wanted to publish to their website. This system includes also simple sale management which is the art gallery business may publish also the artworks that is for sale and the customer may request for an order of the artwork and when the management will contact the customer to confirm the transaction and for the scheduling of the delivery.

• Home Page
  • The page where the customers or visitors will be redirected by default when browsing the art gallery's website. This the where the upcoming events list of the art gallery is listed.
• Explore Page
  • The page where all artworks in the art gallery are listed including the artworks that are for sale. This page displays the content of each artwork that the management published.
• About Page
  • The page where the Art Gallery about content displays.

How to Run

1. Download the source code and extract the zip file.
2. Download or set up any local web server that runs PHP script.
3. Open the web-server database and create a new database name it art_gallery_db.
4. Import the SQL file located in the database folder of the source code.
5. Copy and paste the source code to the location where your local web server accessing your local projects. Example for XAMPP('C:\xampp\htdocs')
6. Open a web browser and browse the project. E.g [http://localhost/art-gallery-management-system] for the visitor or customer and for the admin [http://localhost/art-gallery-management-system/admin]

Default Admin Access:

Username: admin
Password: admin123
