In Visual Studio 2012 when asking to make the connection to the Access 2010 database gives the following error: The provider 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' is not registered on the local machine I am using Windows 8.1 (64 bit) Visual Studio 2012 Microsoft Office 2010 (I think it's 32 bits, I'm not sure) I downloaded the Access Database Engine either 32 bits or 64 bits. The 32 bit installed but did not change anything 64 does not want to install, says that the version of Office installed on my PC is 32 bits.
