According to Seydoux, the Parrot unveiled a new kind of drones that wants to mix the best of both worlds— quadcopters and fixed-wing drones. The new released minidrone was explained by the Parrot CEO Seydox that the project was code-named as “Wing-X” internally. It has a new innovative style of flying feature. The new mini drone was a sort of hybrid quadcopter that combines vertical take-off with horizontal flight. It is notable for its particularly small size, and its X-wing configuration. “It’s much more enjoyable to fly this drone than a quadcopter,” Seydoux said at its unveiling. “It speaks to your imagination.” The Swing uses Bluetooth and ships with a game pad. You can fly it 300 feet (90 meters) above your head and Bluetooth will still work.
