Please Help-Database to track visitors to Resource Centre

I am really hoping someone can help us with a database to log clients to our Resource Centre. It is a non-profit agency that helps people find work, write resumes, cover letter, use the computer lab and job bank, etc. and we need to be able to log each visitor to our centre and which service they used. We have WASP CCD usb barcode scanner and we have designed cards for with a barcode for visitors. However, we do not have the skills to setup a database that will input the barcode data and calculate each visit. Our goal is to have the visitor scan their card and then it is automatically put into a database and calculate how many times they visited and which services they have used. We have a very basic database, but we have no idea where to go from here. I will attach the excel spreadsheet with info as an example and a sample barcode card that we have designed. You will see that we really need help.
