POS / INVENTORY SYSTEM

While trying to run the POS system (downloaded from this site) I am getting an error message "PHYSICAL DATBASE NOT FOUND". Could somebody please tell as to what I am missing?

 

In addition could not locate the help file for which there is a menu item in the apps.

The first time you run the program it will look for a database called data.mdb. If in case you selected the wrong database you can still access it using the config.txt file located at the root directory of the source code.

As I have already pointed out the system gives an error msg "PHYSICAL DATABASE NOT FOUND" when I try to run a report or view menu item "Stock card". The title bar of the msgbox reads "Crystal Report Viewer".

Kindly suggest a way out.

PS. I find that even after logging with my user id I am being asked to enter the result of the "Math Question".

i just browse directory where the database, its in Data folder in the sourcecode

Hi!

I am a begnr user, your coding way is very professional. please help, what is the roll of masterfiles. stock entery is compulsory before any sales transction.

Think of masterfiles as the heart of the program. Without a masterfile you can't have a predefined content in your application so you will have to type everything over and over again to encode or process something.

So you need a masterfile like name of customers, product information, etc.

Thanks for immediate response. i was entered the customer info, supplier info, supplier category. then doing local purchase for new item entry, it required the stock values what can i do, in my opnion we can buy items through local purchase not directly entered the stock values in stock table.

please i will be thankful if guide me.

i downloaded the control ctrlLiner.ctl but isnt intergrated in the inventory system. How do i do this?

Sir, Good Day...

    When i tried to open the Stock Card to view the inventory of my stocks there was an error and stated this way..."Server has not yet been Opened. a dialog box from Crystal Report Viewer...and i already installed the Crystal Report...How will i cure this?
