This is a fingerprint scanner/reader that uses Digital Persona SDK. You can integrate this code if you have a Payroll System. The other version is GrFingerX.

You need the digital personal SDK before using this code. You can find this software at Digital Persona’s website.

Modify the config.txt file after you extract the file.

i just downloaded your sample program and i have here a u.r.u 4000b digital persona finger print scanner.. will your program run if i have an sdk which is not the same at the sdk included in this project reference?

Sir do you an any idea what could be missing because I downloaded your application then I ran it but it doesn't work but it also contain no error at all? do you think there should be only missing components why it's not working fully? I followed the configuration but still doesn't work.....please help!

Please Help me, im using visual basic 2008, but i think this code is for vb5, is there anyway in converting vb5 to vb2008, also i find the codes hard to understand because it is my first time to program with a hardware such as biometrics

hello sir, my name is kalai.. now im doing a system which use fingerprint scanner for login. im having digitalpersona fingerprint reader and i had downloaded the SDK. what i found is there are some DLL files in the SDK. but i dont how to import those files in to VB forms, what i have done is, i had add those files as reference, and i created a picture box.. and i dont how to import those fiel into the picture box... plz help im a student..not very good in programming.

I just downloaded the file now and tried to access it with vb6 and it gave me this error that can find project or library and highlighted this "tp As FPTemplate"
