how to select/querry data base on the output of displayed data in datagrid

Sir.

I was currently developing a web and was find some difficulty on how would I display another set of data base on the output of a 1 field of that datagrid, it's a date field.. I was using
a firebird and vb.net(asp.net) app.. Any help or ideas would be highly appreaciated..
