Access files like images in a compressed zipped folder

is it possible to Access files like images in a compressed zipped folder
in VB.net?

I saved images on a folder and access them programatically
BUT BUT BUT the big disadvantages of it is that,
it so easy to rename the filename and it make bugs to the system itself when the
filename chngd.

So i was thinkng if its possible to access it in a compressed zipped folder with password =)

Any Idea?
