All-In-One Script Framework: An IT Time-Saver Announced by Microsoft
The IT Professionals were considered as the world's busiest people, experiencing late night sleeps, plenty of brainstorming and sometimes talking to themselves. As a sign of giving importance to programmers, Microsoft have released the All-In-One Script Framework.
The Microsoft latest launched of the All-In-One Script Framework will help the IT Professionals to download free scripts developed in-house. The AIOS Framework is an automation script sample library for IT Professionals.
The site will be similar to the All-In-One Code Framework, Microsoft's free code library that has code samples showing how to solve common programming tasks based on developer feedback.
The All-In-One Script Framework will try to deliver the Scenario-Focused Script Samples diven by IT Prossionals' real world pains and needs.
According to Microsoft they were looking at all TechNet Forums, IT Pro's support calls, monitored the script requests, collected frequently asked IT scenarios and create script samples to automate the tasks and save time.
Microsoft stated that the samples will illustrate the frequently asked IT scripting scenarios of Microsoft products such as Windows Server, SQL Server, Windows Client, Exchange, Office 365, Sharepoint, Lync, Dynamics and Information Server through scripting language such as PowerShell, VBScript and T-SQL.
On August 1, 2012, the first script samples were released, with two Office 365 automation script samples, three Windows Server/Windows Client Scripts, and three Exchange Server 2010 script samples. The first crop of scripts includes ways to modify mailbox folder permissions in Excel.
